How to choose a suitable plastic injection molding machine

General the elements of influence the injection including: mould,products,plastic material,demolding and so on. So before select, we should get the following information:

1.mould dimension(width,hight,thickness),weight,if it has special design,which should be take into consideration during machine selection;

2. The plastic material used and number of the raw material(one or various material);

3. overmolding products' external dimension(length,width,hight,thickness),weight;

4. overmolding requirements:quality term and produce speed

After got the information above all ,then we could select the machine as below step:

Firstly: choose the right type-decide by the products and plastic.For examples, thin wall products usually we will suggest high speed injection molding machine, normal daily use products we will use servo injection molding machine.

Due to the injection molding machine have many kinds of types, so we should got that it is the General thermoplastic plastic or Bakelite raw materials or PET raw material

Secodly: suitable for mould when put inside

Mould size decide the distance between tid-bars,mould hight. We also need to connect machine injection weight with products weight.

Thirdly:easy for mould take out

Mould and products decide the opening stroke and demoulding stroke Then when we finish the production of the mould, we can take out the mould.

Fourthly:locked steady

Products and material decide the locking tonnage ton.Should reach the mould locking force.

Fifthly: injection fully 

Decided by the products weight and cavities to choice the suitable Screw. Otherwise the produts cannot filled all during injection.

Sixth: injection well

Plastic material decide the screw compression ratio and the injection pressure.

generally ,the smallest screw could provide the higher injection pressure .

Seventh: injection fastly

Should make sure the injection speed

Many products need high speed injection pressure to make sure the products overmoulding stability, such as thin wall plastic injection.
